Signicator on gold.
XAUUSD, silver and oil. Trending markets that turn on a headline.
Gold does not behave like EURUSD.
- Gold trends hard and retraces deep, so the retracement zones carry more weight here.
- Data releases move it in seconds. A bar-close signal is worth more when intrabar noise is this violent.
- Oil carries its own inventory cycle. Same engine, different thresholds.
Every parameter is still exposed if you want to override the defaults.
XAUUSD style movement: strong legs, deep pullbacks, decisive closes.
Metals and energy people run it on.
Gold is the one most of our traders watch. The rest behave similarly enough to share the tuning.

About gold and metals.
Is gold the best market for it?
It is the one most of our traders watch, because it trends cleanly and respects retracement levels. That said, nothing about the engine is gold specific.
What about news releases?
Signicator confirms on bar close, so a spike that reverses inside the candle never prints a signal. That matters more on gold than almost anywhere else.
Does oil use the same settings?
Same engine, different thresholds. Oil carries an inventory cycle that gold does not, so the volatility profile is tuned separately.
